In order to bring more brand awareness and consistency to the White Pine Trail State Park, which is a recreational trail that reaches from Grand Rapids to Cadillac in South Western Michigan. An identity was provided to the trail and applied to a series of signs, kiosks, and benches along it and in adjacent parks to help bring unity and a sense of connectivity to the trail.
The Trail Pals are a group of native Michigan animals that were created to help connect children with the trail and to get them excited about the outdoors. They appear in maps, on their own micro-site, and in a variety of other applications for the trail to create a learning environment for kids, and a way to actively engage them with the trail.
